Evidence into Practice award

An ‘Evidence into Action’ prize, worth $1000, will be awarded by the National Institute for Clinical Studies to the paper or poster that best demonstrates improving health care by closing an identified gap between the available evidence and clinical practice, within Australian health care settings. Some of the up-coming conferences where the award will be presented include the College of Emergency Nursing Australia Conference, in October, and the Australasian College of Emergency Medicine Annual Scientific Meeting in November.

(Note that at the 2006 Australasian College for Emergency Medicine (ACEM) Annual Scientific Meeting in Sydney, the NICS Evidence into Action award went to a joint Melbourne Health and Austin Health project paper.
